Mac Jones, former New England Patriots quarterback, has been traded to the Jacksonville Jaguars, returning to his hometown. Jones, who was drafted 15th overall in 2021, has started 42 NFL games, completing 8,918 yards. The Patriots received a 2024 sixth-round draft pick in exchange. Jones will now compete for a backup role behind Jaguars starting quarterback, Trevor Lawrence.
