Indonesia's foreign debt fell to $405.7bn in Jan 2023, down from $408.1bn in Dec 2022, due to decreases in public & private sector external debts. Government debt dropped to $194.4bn partly due to SBN series repayment, while private sector debt declined due to financial & non-financial corporations. The Indonesian government remains committed to timely debt payments and efficient management.
