Independent Investigations (IIO) of BC has concluded that a blanket wrapped around a motorbike's rear wheel, not the police, caused an armed man's motorcycle crash in Campbell River. Officers responded to a report of an armed man in the driveway of a residence at 1:05 a.m. The cause of the crash was determined not to be related to police actions.
