ICC introduces "Stop Clock" system as permanent feature for T20 World Cup 2024.

The ICC has announced that the "Stop Clock" system, which ensures precise timing of certain match situations in white-ball international cricket, will become a permanent feature from the T20 World Cup 2024. The system, introduced on a trial basis in December 2023, has saved around 20 minutes per ODI match and promotes fairness and consistency in decision-making processes. The T20 World Cup 2024, set for June in the West Indies and the USA, will include reserve days for the semi-finals and final.
