High Tide Inc. acquires Queen of Bud brand's IP for $1M, with founder Ashley Newman as global brand ambassador.

Cannabis retailer High Tide Inc. has agreed to acquire the Queen of Bud brand's intellectual property for $1M, including trademarks and other assets. The deal is expected to close in coming weeks and will include a cash payment of $100,000, with the remainder paid in High Tide common shares. Queen of Bud founder Ashley Newman will take on the role of global brand ambassador for High Tide as part of the acquisition.
