Former PM Liz Truss accused Labour MPs of preventing debate of her proposed transgender law change in the Commons, which would ban transgender women from female-only spaces and sports. Truss's bill was third on the list to be discussed by MPs, but lengthy speeches in earlier debates meant there was no time left for it. She accused Labour MPs of "filibustering" and claimed they didn't want to discuss how to protect children and single-sex spaces.
