Firefighters and dive teams recovered the body of a missing kayaker in Richland County's Lake Carolina after a kayaker overturned and did not resurface on Thursday afternoon. The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources and Columbia-Richland Fire Department responded to the scene, conducting a search and rescue operation that lasted several hours. The Richland County Coroner's Office is working to identify the victim.
