Canada is reducing its diplomatic presence in Haiti, keeping only essential staff at its embassy in Port-au-Prince due to a volatile security situation. The decision comes as other countries have also moved non-essential staff out of Haiti. The Canadian Embassy remains temporarily closed to the public. Non-essential employees have been relocated to the Dominican Republic, where they will work remotely.
