Apple's iPad Air is expected to receive an OLED display upgrade in 2028, according to a report from Omdia researcher Kang Min-soo. Apple is set to launch the new OLED iPad Pro this month and is already working on bringing the display technology to the iPad Air lineup. The iPad Air is predicted to feature an OLED panel with a single-stack tandem, following the launch of the iPad Pro with OLED display.
