30-year-old convicted stalker, Bryce Hodgson, was fatally shot by police in Southwark, South-East London after threatening officers with a sword and a crossbow during a break-in attempt. Hodgson had three crossbows and ignored police instructions, swinging a sword and pointing a crossbow at officers before being shot. The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) is investigating the incident and expects to conclude the inquiry in the summer.
