26-year-old Rani Paige Lowry faces court over a crash that seriously injured Queensland Greens MP Amy MacMahon. Lowry allegedly ran a red light and drove over 20 km/h over the limit when her car collided with MacMahon's vehicle at a busy Brisbane intersection. MacMahon was taken to the hospital and has since left but will not return to state parliament as she recovers from her injuries.
