The crash occurred on Tuesday at 5 p.m., near Volin, as the motorcyclist attempted to pass the truck while it was turning into a field. The rider, who was not wearing a helmet, was thrown from the motorcycle and died at the scene. The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
