Veteran left-hander Jose Quintana was named the New York Mets' Opening Day starter for their March 28 game against the Milwaukee Brewers, replacing injured ace Kodai Senga. Quintana, 35, has a 3.57 ERA in 13 starts last season and a 2.08 ERA in three starts this spring. It marks his second Opening Day start, having previously pitched for the Chicago White Sox in 2017.
