17-year-old girl shot near Garfield High School in Seattle. The incident occurred in the 400 block of 23rd Avenue at about 2:40 p.m. when an SUV fired shots. The victim, who was hit in the leg, was taken to Harborview Medical Center in satisfactory condition. Garfield High was placed on shelter-in-place, and the Seattle Police Department's Gun Violence Reduction Team is investigating the incident.
