57-year-old Florida man dies in head-on crash on U.S. 41 in Indiana; 37-year-old Illinois driver injured.
A fatal head-on crash occurred on U.S. 41 near County Road 550 South in Gibson County, Indiana, on March 13, at approximately 11:30 p.m. A 57-year-old Florida man driving a Nissan Rogue southbound in the northbound lane collided with a Chevrolet Malibu driven by 37-year-old Leanna Morris of Illinois. The Florida driver was pronounced deceased at the scene, while Morris was seriously injured and transported to Deaconess Midtown Hospital. The northbound lanes of U.S. 41 were closed for approximately two hours for the investigation.
