50 years after remains of a murdered woman were found in Connecticut, DNA testing has identified her as Linda Sue Childers, from Louisville, Kentucky. The investigation started in 1974 when police found two victims fatally shot in a wooded area in Ledyard, Connecticut. Although one victim used an alias, DNA led police to her family, ultimately solving the 50-year-old cold case. The suspects were convicted, but have since died.
