Volkswagen introduces the rear-drive ID 3 GTX, a compact electric hot hatch, as part of its GTX performance lineup. The ID 3 GTX features two versions: the ID 3 GTX with a 282-horsepower motor and a top speed of 111 mph, and the ID 3 GTX Performance with a 322-horsepower motor and a top speed of 124 mph. Both versions use a single motor and a 79 kWh battery pack. The ID 3 GTX is Volkswagen's electric replacement for the iconic Golf GTI model.
