US House passes bill to ban TikTok.

The US House of Representatives has passed a bill that could ban Chinese-owned TikTok in the country. The "Protecting Americans From Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act" passed with a bipartisan vote of 352-65, requiring TikTok's China-based parent company, ByteDance, to sell the app or face a ban. President Joe Biden has indicated that he would sign the legislation if Congress approves it. The bill moves to the Senate, where its fate is uncertain.
