The Tula Foundation, founded by Eric Peterson and Christina Munck, received a final $92 million donation and transferred 55 acres of land to the BC Parks Foundation for conservation.

The Tula Foundation, founded by Eric Peterson and Christina Munck, received a final $92 million donation to support scientific innovation and sustainability. Alongside this, they transferred 55 acres of ecologically and culturally significant land on Calvert Island to the BC Parks Foundation. This land will eventually be incorporated into the Hakai Lúxvbálís Conservancy, jointly managed by the Heiltsuk and Wuikinuxv First Nations.
