Spanish construction giant Ferrovial to acquire a 24% stake in IRB Infrastructure Trust, an investment vehicle holding toll road concessions in India, for $810 million. The stake is currently owned by affiliates of Singapore's sovereign fund GIC. The deal is expected to close by April, subject to regulatory approvals. Ferrovial's acquisition follows India's plans to invest $240 billion in roads until 2025.
