Sheboygan police issued a "Shelter in Place" order for residents near 9th and Humboldt Avenue after responding to an emergency at the 2700 block of South 9th Street. The threat has been contained, and there is no danger to the general public, but officers remain on scene and ask the public to avoid the area. Initially, some schools in the vicinity were placed on lockdown.
