Philippines may overtake Singapore as Asia's 2nd largest gambling destination by next year due to new integrated resorts.

The Philippines could surpass Singapore as Asia's second-largest gambling destination by next year, thanks to new integrated resorts, according to Manila's gaming agency, Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp (Pagcor). These resorts aim to boost visitor numbers and offset a decline in Chinese tourist arrivals. The country plans to introduce new integrated casinos in Manila, Clark, Cebu, and Boracay, targeting 7.7 million foreign tourists this year.
