Orange Sky Aotearoa, a non-profit offering free laundry and shower services, partners with BBM FoodShare to launch NZ's first permanent laundry pod in South Auckland. The pod, featuring 2 washers and dryers, aims to address the severe housing deprivation (43.8%) revealed in 2018 Census data. The charity has helped over 17,000 loads of washing, 8,200 showers, and provided 27,000 hours of conversation in Auckland.
