Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) seized $13M in drugs and arrested nine suspects in connection with a drug trafficking network operating out of southern Ontario. The investigation, dubbed Project Cranium, began in fall 2023 after police learned of two individuals trafficking drugs in Barrie. Nine people from the Toronto area face 44 charges in the investigation led by the OPP Provincial Joint Forces Guns and Gangs Enforcement Team.
