Former New Zealand MP Golriz Ghahraman pleaded guilty to four shoplifting charges in Auckland District Court, admitting to stealing nearly $9,000 worth of goods. The charges relate to incidents at Scotties Boutique, where Ghahraman allegedly stole $2,060 and $5,773 worth of clothes on separate days, and Cre8tiveworx store, where she took a $695 black Zambesi shirt. The charges carry a maximum term of imprisonment of seven years.
