Fiji High Court finds former PM Bainimarama and suspended police chief Qiliho guilty of corruption.
Former Fiji Prime Minister Frank Bainimarama and suspended police chief Sitiveni Qiliho have been found guilty of corruption by the Fiji High Court. Acting Chief Justice Salesi Temo overturned the Magistrate Court's verdict and convicted both men, with Bainimarama charged with attempted perversion of justice and Qiliho charged with abuse of office. The court has scheduled a sentencing date for March 28.
