Cincinnati Bengals release safety Nick Scott, creating $2m in cap space for new signings.
Cincinnati Bengals have released safety Nick Scott after a year-long tenure, saving $2m against the salary cap. Scott, a former LA Rams player, signed a $12m deal last year. The team recently agreed to a two-year $15m contract with Geno Stone, who had a breakout season with 7 interceptions, and may utilize third-year player Dax Hill in a hybrid safety and cornerback role. Scott will become an unrestricted free agent.
