Canadian Violence Against Women Advocate Case Review program, reviewing uncharged police sexual-assault investigations, faces federal funding end in March.

A unique Canadian program, the Violence Against Women Advocate Case Review, which reviews every police sexual-assault investigation that doesn't lead to charges, is set to run out of federal funding at the end of March. Launched in 2016, the program operates in over two dozen communities across several provinces, with plans to expand further. The program's national co-ordinator, Sunny Marriner, says there are no other avenues for funding at this time.
