BP Pulse acquires Ashford International Truckstop in Kent, a large lorry park near the M20, with plans to transform it into a super-charging hub for electric HGVs. The site will host 20 megawatt EV charging bays, capable of fully charging an HGV in 45 minutes and providing an onward range of up to 310 miles. This acquisition is part of BP's strategic drive to create a Europe-wide network of electric truck charging infrastructure.
