45-year-old Nigerian man, living illegally in the US since 2017, was arrested in Rhode Island on Feb 15 by ICE for his 2019 indecent solicitation of a child conviction. He entered the US on a non-immigrant tourist visa and was sentenced to 5 years in prison with 6 months home confinement. His sentence was later suspended, leading to his arrest as ICE targets unlawfully present non-citizen sex offenders.
