35-year-old former Olathe North High School choir teacher, Micah Barry Horton, is charged with multiple child sex crime offenses, including sexual exploitation of a child and two counts of unlawful sexual relations. The alleged crimes occurred between December 2023 and February 12, 2024, with a student at the school. Horton was fired after an internal investigation and a special meeting of the Olathe school board.
