Former Ontario Liberal MP and entrepreneur, Kim Rudd, has died at 66. Rudd, who represented a southern Ontario riding, passed away from ovarian cancer at a hospice in Cobourg, Ontario. She served as parliamentary secretary to the natural resources minister and was also chair of the Parliamentary Health Research Caucus. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau expressed condolences to Rudd's family and friends, saying she was a "thoughtful and tireless advocate for Canadians" in areas such as affordable housing, rural broadband, and health care.
