Rick Springfield, singer of "Jessie's Girl", paid tribute to Eric Carmen, creator of "All By Myself", following his passing at 74. Springfield recalled opening for Carmen's band, The Raspberries, in 1974 and expressed admiration for Carmen as an "amazing singer, amazing writer, and good human".
