11- and 12-year-old boys are charged with burglary and animal cruelty after a break-in at Capel Manor College in Gunnersbury Park, west London, in which animals were killed and enclosures damaged. A missing barn owl named Shiraz was found at a warehouse near Heathrow Airport and is now being cared for at the college's Enfield campus. The boys are scheduled to appear in Uxbridge Magistrates' Court.
