The inquest ruled that no one will ever know how or why Stephen, who was 'heavily intoxicated,' fell from the third-floor balcony. He had been celebrating his engagement with family and friends at the hotel. Stephen worked at Alton Towers for five years and was affectionately known as 'Mr Fix-It.'
