Pitt County resident William Shivers, who always believed he would win the lottery, won $100,000 in North Carolina's new 200X The Cash game. Shivers bought the lucky ticket at a Winterville Circle K and collected his $71,509 winnings on March 11 to pay bills and build a metal shop in his backyard. The 200X The Cash game debuted last week with five $5 million top prizes and nine $100,000 prizes.
