The Union Cabinet has approved two new metro lines in Delhi, extending the network to Lajpat Nagar-Saket G Block and Inderlok-Indraprastha. The total project cost of these two corridors, part of Delhi Metro's Phase-IV, is estimated at Rs 8,399 crore, to be sourced from the Union and Delhi governments and international funding agencies. The Inderlok-Indraprastha corridor will extend the Green Line, providing interchange with the Red, Yellow, Airport Line, Magenta, Violet, and Blue Lines, while the Lajpat Nagar-Saket G Block corridor will connect the Silver, Magenta, Pink, and Violet Lines.
