UN nuclear chief Rafael Mariano Grossi visits Japan to examine discharges of treated radioactive wastewater from Fukushima plant, discuss further cooperation on peaceful use of nuclear energy and non-proliferation. This is Grossi's first visit since the commencement of treated water releases in August. The visit coincides with Japan marking 13 years after the 2011 earthquake and tsunami that caused the Fukushima disaster.
