5th consecutive day of stock decline at Dhaka Stock Exchange, key index DSEX dropped 0.85%.

Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) experienced its fifth consecutive day of stock decline, with the key index DSEX dropping 51.52 points, or 0.85%. The DSE Shariah index fell 12.74 points, and the DS30 index lost 12.04 points. Turnover decreased to Tk 563.53 crore, with 398 issues traded. The decline was driven by a fall in large-cap securities, recent technical glitches, and downgrading of 28 companies.
