South Africa's central bank governor, Lesetja Kganyago, forecasts the country's removal from the Financial Action Task Force's (FATF) "grey list" in early 2023, after being added due to concerns over combating money laundering and terror financing. South Africa is working to address the issues and Kganyago expressed his confidence in the country's removal from the grey list by the next review date in 2025.
