Pakistan's Information Minister accuses PTI of conspiring to revoke Pakistan's GSP+ status with the EU.
Pakistan's Information Minister Attaullah Tarar accused Imran Khan's party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI), of conspiring to ask the European Union to revoke Pakistan's GSP+ status, which promotes good governance and sustainable development through trade. The GSP+ status has been in place since 2014 and has been extended until 2027. The EU offers duty-free or minimum duty imports to the European market for countries with the GSP+ status.
