Briscoes, a New Zealand homeware and sporting goods retailer, reported record sales of $792m in the year to January 28, 2024, despite a challenging economic environment. The company managed to protect its profit margin and deliver positive growth in both segments, with sporting goods increasing by 1.17% and homeware by 0.54%. The net profit after tax (NPAT) decreased slightly to $84.2m from the previous year's record of $88.4m.
