The New York Giants have signed quarterback Drew Lock, previously with the Seattle Seahawks, to a one-year, $5 million contract. The move comes after the team lost Tyrod Taylor to the New York Jets. Lock, a former second-round pick by the Denver Broncos, will compete with rookie free agent Tommy DeVito for the backup quarterback position behind starter Daniel Jones, who is recovering from ACL surgery.
