Maryland labor officials have reported a $1.8 million lifetime income gap for Latina women compared to white men, one of the largest such income gaps in the US. The report, released by Governor Wes Moore's administration on Equal Pay Day, also reveals that women in Maryland on average earn 86 cents for every dollar earned by men. The bill aimed at addressing the issue requires all employers to include a pay range in their job postings.
