A man with life-threatening injuries was hospitalized after a two-alarm high-rise fire in North York, Toronto, on Tuesday evening. The fire at 5949 Yonge Street was extinguished, containing it to the affected suite. Toronto police and the Ontario Office of the Fire Marshal are investigating the cause. The building is now cleared for residents to re-enter, except for the floor directly involved in the fire.
