Malaysia's National Film Development Corporation (FINAS) amends 1983 regulations to safeguard veteran industry practitioners' welfare. Standard contracts for film producers and crew in licence applications will include provisions for Socso, EPF, life insurance, and medical facilities. Minister Fahmi Fadzil's Ministry of Communications supports local creative industry through MyCreative Ventures (MyCV), including the Kembara RIUH 2024 program aiming to create 5,000 jobs and support 2,000 local creative entrepreneurs.
