Lithium Americas receives $2.26bn conditional loan from US DOE for Thacker Pass mine processing facilities.

Lithium Americas Corp has received a conditional commitment from the US Department of Energy (DOE) for a $2.26bn loan under the Advanced Technology Vehicles Manufacturing (ATVM) Loan Program to finance the construction of processing facilities at Thacker Pass, located in Humboldt County, Nevada. This loan is intended to help build a lithium carbonate processing plant, which will be adjacent to Lithium Americas' $2.2bn Thacker Pass mine.
