India's retail inflation moderated to a four-month low of 5.09% in February, according to official data, providing some relief to household budgets. The inflation rate remained within the Reserve Bank of India's comfort zone of 2-6% for the sixth consecutive month. In January, retail inflation was at 5.1%. The food basket inflation rose marginally to 8.66% in February from 8.3% in January.
