Citizenship Amendment Act Rules Notified.

India has notified the rules for the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) 2019, enabling citizenship for individuals from Hindu, Sikh, Jain, Buddhist, and Parsi communities who have migrated from Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan before 2015 due to religious persecution. This act, part of the BJP's 2019 manifesto, will grant citizenship to non-Muslim faiths, with the intention to implement it before the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in April or May, as stated by Home Minister Amit Shah.
