India has notified the rules for the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) 2019, enabling citizenship for individuals from Hindu, Sikh, Jain, Buddhist, and Parsi communities who have migrated from Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan before 2015 due to religious persecution.
