The Illinois Tollway Authority has replaced transponders with I-PASS stickers, aiming for a more convenient, reliable, and cost-effective travel experience. Once registered, the stickers are immediately usable on the Illinois Tollway, and within 24 hours on the Chicago Skyway or other E-ZPass roadways. I-PASS stickers can be used "anywhere E-ZPass is accepted," including the Indiana Toll Road.
